Rare perfume used in ancient rituals as a spiritually purifying ointment. Sandalwood is a valuable fixative which blends well with other oils. It is a very mild oil suitable for dry skin. Has also been used to treat dry skin, depression, diarrhea, nausea, acne, dry cough, insomnia and impotence. Sandalwood is believed to create an exotic, sensual mood with a reputation as an aphrodisiac.
