Also called Lavender Sage due to a similarity in fragrance. In Southern Europe and the Mediterranean it is revered as a cure-all. Reported useful in dealing with arthristis, poor circulation, menopause, nervousness, insomnia, grief, overexertion. Stimulates memory and encourages introspection.
TIP: Blends well with rosemary, clary sage, lavender, pine, cedarwood atlas, juniper, and eucalyptus.
Antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, carminative, deodorant, depurative, digestive, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, hypotensive, nervine, regulator (of seborrhoea), stimulant (adrenocortical glands, circulation), stomachic and tonic (nerve and general).
