Lemongrass is said to be a remedy for open pores, excessive perspiration, and infectious diseases. A cleanser for oily skin and used in shampoo to add luster to the hair. It has a strong citrus fragrance which makes it a preferred fragrance in room and outdoor sprays (insect repellents), soaps and detergents. Try it as a room deodorizer. Lemongrass is used in the production of vitamin A.
