FALSE UNICORN (Helonias) Chamaelirium luteum
Liquid extract of dried rhizome & rootlets.

  • Actions: Excellent restorative tonic for the female reproductive system. Helps maintain healthy tone and posture of the uterus and urinary bladder. Promotes female fertility.
  • Uses: Malposition or prolapse of the uterus. Especially indicated in uterine weakness where there is a sense in the pelvis of downward pressure, dragging or expulsion (“As if the contents of the pelvis would fall out.”). Emotional irritability or despondency associated with the menstrual cycle or menopause. Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. History of premature birth, or in threatened miscarriage. Postpartum tonic to restore uterine tone. Menstrual discomfort and maladies. Indicated in irritable, weighty, dragging sensation associated with certain urinary bladder disorders in men and women, and can be useful in urinary incontinence.
  • Dose: Take 30 to 40 drops, 2 to 4 times per day. For irritable conditions, take with Cramp Bark or Black Haw.
  • Cautions: Large doses may cause nausea.
